Recently, educators, farmers and community leaders attended the Ventura County Agricultural Education Summit, hosted by Ventura County Farm to School at Cal State University Channel Islands. The summit focused on how to implement farming education while promoting healthy eating and exposing students to different career pathways. 

The Rio School District was highlighted during the summit for its 10-acre regenerative farm.
