What Is Bullying?
Bullying is repeated behavior intended to hurt, intimidate, embarrass, or exclude someone. It can happen:
- In Person
- Online or through social media
- Through words, actions, or rumors
- Physically, verbally, socially, or emotionally
Bullying can affect a student’s confidence, mental health, academic success, and sense of belonging.
- Everyone deserves respect.
- Differences should be celebrated.
- Kindness matters.
- Speaking up can make a difference.
- No student should feel alone.
Be an upstander, not a bystander.
- Report it to a trusted adult
- Support the student being targeted
- Include others
- Use kind words and actions
- Never share hurtful posts, photos, or rumors online
Even small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
